3224 A - 4/02/1978 letter from the Central Victorian Branch of the NT to the Northern District School of Nursing writes concern about the "Gold Office, a small but unique portion of the former estate of the Watson family.... being an important reminder of the days when Bendigo depended on the gold industry for its existence". Requesting the School of Nursing takes steps to preserve the Gold Office and the stables.
