The Nurses' Registration Regulations set down in 1926 required all nurse trainees to receive instruction in invalid cookery. It is signed by the Teacher- In- Charge Mary G Kirkhope and Director Frederick W Green. The envelope containing the certificate has a postage stamp of 1 penny, the cost of regular postage at that time.
