The photo shows a group of 9 men at the South Melbourne perway store yard, Dec. 1939. Lists the names: Back Row (L to R) W. R Pollock, E Lindsay, R Stewart. Front Row (L to R), E Rioper, J Woods, A V Cook, L S Gilbert, P Bickham & H Moore. Notes those not in the photo as G Coop, A E Coniport (?) and N F Connor. William Pollock was the MMTB Power House (or Winding or Engine) Superintendent and took the position of storeman at South Melbourne in 1936 as the Steam engines in Winding houses were being phased out.
