Historical information

The postcard shows Swanston Street looking north from about Little Collins Street with some ten cable tram sets in the view including one traveling west in Collins Street and a number of horse-drawn vehicles. There are telephone lines on the right side of Swanston Street which were removed during 1910. In the background is the Town Hall. Rear of postcard has "Printed in Germany" on the rear.
