Historical information

Photo taken from the east side of Dawson St at the intersection with Sturt St shows a westbound ESCo tram with St Patrick's Cathedral and the median strip. The tram has a dash mounted destination - c1905/06 before the installation of roof mounted destinations. Has the publishers number stamp in the bottom left hand corner - 53392 (JV) and the name of the publisher Valentine on the rear.

Significance

Demonstrates a coloured card published by Valentines decorated with a glitter material.

Physical description

Postcard - divided back, coloured with glitter added. Has been torn from an album and damaged with stamp removed.
