The photo shows T class tram No. 179 at Preston Workshops. Note the tram number is above the headlight. The tram was built for the Melbourne Brunswick and Coburg Tramway Trust in 1917 and was sold during Sept. 1971. Photo possibly just prior to being sold, photographer and date unknown.
