The photo shows W2 class tram No. 442 at Preston Workshops, possibly at the time of its last repaint April 1980, though the trucks are unpainted. It was converted to the first Restaurant tram during Sept. 1982. A Z3 class tram with trolley poles is at the rear of tram 442.
