Historical information
Sunshine Technical School opened in 1913 and closed in 1991 when it became part of Sunshine Secondary College.
Significance
The centenary in 2013 marked 100 years since the school’s creation by H.V. McKay. A public reunion event was held on 13 October 2013 at the Derby Road school site with many of the buildings and school grounds opened to the public.
