Historical information

The photo shows a group of 32 men standing in front of two W class trams. Both cars still have wind deflectors but fitted with route number boxes. Photo 1930c note also the older 1920’ fashion on the far left. Location looks to be South Melbourne, left car shows City route 2A, right car shows City route 8. Both routes were run from South Melbourne at this time. Depot sky lights are also correct for South Melbourne.
