Small box containing seven obituary notices - five relating to John Kelvie Chesters POW and two relating to his uncle John Chesters KIA in 1916

John Kelvie Chesters VX67750 Born on 11/12/1922 at Footscray Enlisted on 12/12/1941 and serviced with the Australian Army Canteen Service (AACS). John was deployed to Ambon in the Dutch East Indies and taken prisoner of war and died of illness on 1/7/1945 aged 22 years. Buried at Galala War Cemetery Ambon.
Son of Thomas Kelvie Chesters who served during WW1 and likely named in honour of his brother John Chesters 3476 killed in action in France during WW1.
