The photo shows Z1 class tram No. 13 at Preston Workshops on the open inspection pit, possibly soon after its delivery during August 1975. Alongside and behind are other Z class trams. The tram entered service on 1/10/1975. Destination and route number equipment appears yet to be fitted.
