Historical information

Iris Blanche Noble was a Sunshine North resident and lived to the age of 94.

Iris was born in 1922, Daylesford, Victoria to John Edward Henry Howard and Lily Jane Howard Nee Courtot.

She married Stewart William Noble in 1942, Victoria.

Iris died on the 13th June 2014, Daylesford, Victoria.

Iris was a meticulous and talented artist, known for working across several craft and art forms including decorated eggshells, paint, lace‑making, sewing / seamstress work and pottery.

During the Second World War she was an Air Raid Warden patrolling the streets of Yarraville, Victoria.
