Historical information

This item was collected by National Serviceman Allen D Lette, who served in the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps in Vietnam 1969-70. Ordnance provided the vehicles to transport officers to the parade held at Vung Tau to present the citation of The Meritorious Unit Commendation held on 30 September 1970. Pte Lette said he kept the programme because it was a privilege to be in attendance.
