Copy of file no. 21-720-332 from the National Archives of Australia being the monthly report for December 1942 from the Principal Matron of the AANS at the Queensland Headquarters to the Matron-in-Chief of the Allied Land Forces at Headquarters in Melbourne. The report includes a table of numbers of nurses located at various Australian General Hospitals and other facilities within Australia delineating between those on Home Service Full Time Duty or those with the AIF. At the time of this report the combined number of nurses serving in (mostly) Queensland was 600.
