Photos shows the exterior of the former cable tram engine house on the corner of Bridge Road and Hoddle St Richmond. It operated from 1885 to 1927. At the time the building was occupied by East Melbourne Forklift sales. The building was demolished during the early 1990s to remodel the intersection. Photo early 1960s based on the motor vehicles, photographer unknown. See also item 7227 for further information.
