Photo of Geelong No. 21 at the North terminus with the return destination of Belmont, with the Pilkington glass factory in the background. Has a reflector "T" on the left-hand side at the bottom of the apron formed from small reflectors. It was trialled in 1948, but rejected in favour of battery-powered red tail lights, at the lower corners of tram aprons, fitted gradually from 1949. See also item 9053 for further background.
