Photograph shows the first Z class trams numbers 1 and 2 (later classified Z1 class) in service on Nicholson Street at Victoria Parade. Z number 2 shows destination East Preston-Tyler St route 88 and is in the middle of the intersection. Z number 1 waits at the Victoria Parade stop showing destination Nth Fitzroy-Park St route 97. Both cars appear to be full of passengers and many motor vehicles are in the intersection and parked near by. The ICI Building is in the background. This photograph is likely an official M&MTB photograph.
