Photos shows the exterior of the former cable tram engine house at 628 High St Northcote. It operated from 1890 to 1940. At the time of the photo the building was used by Brown's motors as a motor vehicle repair shop. Photo early 1960s based on the motor vehicles, photographer unknown. The building is (2026) an AAMI motor vehicle repair shop.
