Mrs Betty Curson-Siggers was named Caulfield's Citizen of the Year at the Australia Day breakfast [1990]. Betty was presented a commemorative plaque by the mayer, David Bloom, who went on to say Betty had started service to the nation during the war , later becoming sister in charge at Caulfield Hospital.
