A tram is turning from Moorabool into Ryrie and another is using the crossover in Ryrie St. In the foreground is a cabman's shelter with some horse drawn cabs and one motor car parked in Ryrie St. In the background is Blakiston's Tourist Bureau, Fire Assurance Co. the Post Office tower, signs for Allan's Pianos, Estey Organs, Pizer & Co, Mercer and outfitters, Dickson Chemist, A& WR Roberts, A G Stone watchmaker, Times Office, J Galbraith Sports depot, H F Carter Cash grocer, and Suttons. On the Allan's building is a sign promoting, Hospital Sunday Nov 1 1914, dating the photo as late 1914
