Historical information

Photo shows HTT bogie tram No. 27 in the Hawthorn depot with 10 workshop staff around the front of the tram. Has the inspection pits in the foreground. Photo used in the publication "Tramway by the River" item 1117. The tram was renumbered to 133 by the MMTB and sold to SECV Bendigo where it became No. 25.

Significance

Yields information about HTT tram 27, depot staff and the tram depot itself. Late 1910s or early 1920s.
