Historical information

The Clare Castle Hotel was established on the corner of Graham and Ross Streets in 1875.

Philip Melville Salmon was elected to Port Melbourne Council on 10 August 1888 resigning on 11 September 1893. He was also elected to Victorian State Parliament 1 May 1892 and served until 1 September 1894.
