Nurse Isobel Kilpatrick graduated from St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne Training School in 1936. At graduation, nurses gained their nursing or "sisters" veil as a Victorian state registered nurse.

Physical description

Very fine white organza fabric veil. It has machine embroidered dark navy capital letters "SRN VICTORIA" on one end. It has a deep pulled- thread- hand- stitched hem.
