In the background is the original Malvern depot office buildings. In the front of the tram is a pile of sand, possibly before drying and used in sandboxes. The tram has The Met logo and "Metropolitan Transit" name on the side. Photographer unknown, c1984 - vicsig.net records the tram had an 01 overhaul in August 1984 and was repainted to Met Green and yellow.
