Historical information
The Oswald Gold Mine, often referred to as the North British Mine, was located approximately 2 kilometres south-east of the town of Maldon in central Victoria, Australia. It was situated on Parkins Reef Road, running south from Mount Tarrangower. This highly successful mine, managed by Robert Dent Oswald, was a major quartz-mining site in the late 19th century.
