Photograph shows MESCo Geelong tram No. 12, decorated with World War 1 (WW1) recruiting posters at the Geelong tram depot. The tram was converted from trailer No. 4 during 1913-1914. The way the tram has been decorated or set up, it could only be used for display, not carrying passengers as the doorways have been covered over. See item 5840 for a night photo.

Yields information about a specially decorated Geelong tram during World War 1 as a recruiting tram.
