Historical information

VTMH05770 shows Federal Senator Tekone declaring the upgraded park open. VTMH05770.1 is the memorial plaque mounted on stone in memory of those who lost their lived in the Entrance and at sea. VTMH05770.4 shows dignitaries cutting ribbon. Named L to R are East Gippsland Shire representatives, Bruce Hurley LEADA, Senator Tekone, East Gippsland Shire Mayor Tom Crooks, Tim Bull MLA Victoria. VTMH05770.5 shows new viewing platform which affords a wonderful view of the entrance to Gippsland Lakes. VTMH05770.6 is the new barbeque area and toilet block.
