Historical information

Set of 4 colour slides dated c1966 by Arthur Stone. Trams retain a white-on-black destination roll and have the large white strip under the dash canopy lights. Given the nature of the photos, possibly taken on a Sunday afternoon when the trams ran out after lunch.
1 - Tram 12 on the depot fan with a Twin Lakes sign, with the destination of Depot via Drummond St.
2 - Tram 21, crossing Albert St outward bound to Sebastopol, but with the return destination set. Has a Twin Lakes sign.
3 - Tram 21, leaving the depot to run to Sebastopol.
4 - Tram 21, south bound in Albert St to Sebastopol. Shows the wide nature of Albert St and the road layout.

Yields information about tramway operations in c1966, and trams 12 and 21.
