The W2 class tram is fitted with dash canopy lighting, has the destination of "Mgr. River", route 54 with an ancillary board "Showgrounds via North Melb." covering up the car number. In the background is the Argus building, with a sign for "De Luxe Goodyear tyres" along with the Mitchell Brush, ANZ Bank and Holden motor cars.
