Historical information

Nungurner residents gathered on 16/12/2019 to open the new track from the new jetty to the old jetty where produce was delivered and picked up by regular boat run to and from Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. The track leads from the new jetty to the location of the old jetty where there still exists a stone step as shown in photograph VTMH05776D. VTMH05776.2D shows the signage telling the history. VTMH05776.1D shows the unveiling of the signage to the track.
