Joseph Henry Abbott (1830–1904) in 1889 J. H. Abbott was elected to the Legislative Council for the Northern Province and held his seat until beaten at the 1904 election.

Physical description

A cream coloured double-sided card folded in half to form four pages with black print. Two pages are requesting voters to re-elect The Hon. J. H. Abbott, M.L.C. to the Legislative Council after fifteen Years' Service. One page has a detailed description of his attachments in the Parliament. Another page has a photograph of him signed Yours Faithfully J.H. Abbott.
