Historical information
The Deer Park Leathercloth Factory was a major ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) operation on Station Road, producing “Leathercloth” — a nitrocellulose‑based synthetic coated fabric — and formed part of the wider Deer Park explosives and chemical manufacturing complex. It’s one of the most significant industrial heritage sites in the City of Brimbank.
