Summary

This book is about the history of St. Albans as told by its residents. From pioneer selectors of the 1800s to the depression years of the 1930s, the incoming settlers first established their sleepy little village within a small farming community on the Keilor Plains. Then from the 1950s there was an unprecedented population growth as the European immigrants came in their thousands and helped formed a thriving, cosmopolitan community.
