The Phillip Migrant Hostel was one of the three major post‑war migrant accommodation centers on the former Explosives Factory land at Maribyrnong/Maidstone.
It formed the western section of the broader hostel complex and opened in 1971. The striking feature of the hostel was circular arrangement of the buildings.
The Phillip Hostel closed in 1986–87, along with the Midway Hostel.
