Historical information
St. Albans Heights Primary School opened on 10 May 1968 and has operated continuously since then.
The school was created during a period of rapid suburban expansion in St Albans, driven by post‑war migration and large Housing Commission estates.
It was one of several new schools built in the late 1960s to relieve overcrowding at St Albans, St Albans East, and St Albans South primary schools.
It developed a reputation for strong community engagement, including multicultural programs, English‑language support, and family‑oriented events.
