Black solid leather like folder. Inside the cover is a black sketch of St Vincents Hospital Healy Wing, the bottom heading states Training School for Nurses.

The certificate is ornately printed in caligraphy style and signed in ink by the Honorary Lecturers, the Medical Superintendant and the Mother Rectress.
