Historical information

Agnes Penrose Sargood (1860-1916) was the daughter of Edmund Samuel Parkes (1834-1887) and Nancy Penrose Lawry (1831-1886) who lived at Iron (later called Willyama), 241 Carlisle Street, Balaclava. She married Frederick Thomas Sargood of Rippon Lea in April 1995 at Holy Trinity Church, Balaclava. These days Holy Trinity commemorates the life of Edmund Parks with a stained-glass window and a memorial plaque.
