Rules and regulations governing all employees in operation of trains, signals, equipment, passengers and safety.

The State Transport Authority (STA) of Victoria operated under the Transport Act 1983 and managed rail and country/freight services before merging into the Public Transport Corporation in 1989.

This manual would be issued to all employees for trains, staff operators, etc. Employees issued with this manual were expected to be thoroughly acquainted with its contents.

Physical description

A hard covered blue vinyl book, with bold capital text on the front cover, three brass Stanley book fasteners for holding pages, text and diagrams.
