Mr. J.L. Knight acted as an advisor on the wet mixing and paste sheeting processes during the design, installation and start-up of the factory in 1940-41.
He had the technical oversight of the Armament Chemical Section of the factory from 1945 to 1948.
From 1954 to 1956, he was the manager of the factory.
From 1958 to 1976, he was responsible in the Central Officer for general oversight of the operations of the factories.
This Item belonged to the Friends of the Black Powder Mill.
