Historical information

The Sunshine Advocate was first published 1st March 1924 by Clarice "Clarrie" Carlton. After being sold the paper has been known via various names including Brimbank Advocate, Brimbank Weekly and most recently the Brimbank and North West Star Weekly. The paper has been proudly the voice for the Sunshine community.
