Historical information
The society was established by the Sunshine Harvester Works in 1944 with the aim of assisting its members with low rate interest advances for home building. Membership to the society was restricted to employees of the company. This sign would have once been attached to the front entrance to the Sunshine Harvester Works Co-Operative Housing Society.
