Historical information

This movie projector was one of two projector plus a quantity of 9.5mm films of the McKay Family in Talmage Street Albion which included serveral films made by J.H. Jackson Sunshine Movie Company in the early 1920's. It is thought the equipment and films were acquired by Norman "Norm" McKay from Jackson. There later held by John until handing to the S.H.S. in 1960 and later handed to the S.H.S. Museum in 1967 by Colin Templeton. Norman "Norm" Morrison McKay was the son of George McKay (Brother of Hugh Victor McKay) and Jessie Josephine McKay Nee Morrison.
