Domestic object - Crockery, St Clements Private Hospital saucers, c.1927-1940

Historical information

St Clement's Private Hospital was situated on the corner of Southey and Byron Streets, St Kilda South. After Sister Gwendolen Luly finished her training at the Alfred Hospital, her father William Luly established the hospital in about 1927 or 1928. She and Sister Brocklebank offered surgical, medical and midwifery services. The hospital was sold in 1940.

White saucers (3) with blue and gold border at rim and a scroll displaying the words ST. CLEMENT'S in blue.
