Historical information
The artwork was presented to James Francis O'Neill, Esquire, for his "unselfish work" at St Vincent's Hospital for twenty- one years, 1924-1945. Eleven of these years were spent as Honorary Secretary of the Wellwishers League who conducted three public appeals.
Physical description
The artwork has an ornate flowering gum border, the St Vincent's Crest and the Healy Building and has detailed calligraphy writing underneath.
