Summary

Mr Green's daughter, Iris, did not return from fetching her handbag, which she had left at work. Her body was found the next day floating in a sluice near her employer's house. The official verict at the inquest was "accidental death" but when another employee's body was found three months later, things took on a different complexion and Scotland Yard is called in.
