Commemorative stick pin issued to mark the 150th anniversary of the discovery of gold in Bendigo. the pin features a crossed pin and shovel behind a gold pan (the circular element in the center). These are the classic digger icons of the Victorian Goldfields. The dark red/maroon enamel background on the central diamond is a traditional colour often associated with Victorian Heritage.
