This postcard was released to celebrate Picture Australia's millionth image - the company no longer exists.
The studio portrait was made in May 1941 in the Mendelssohn, F B & Company, in Melbourne. Enlisted in the AANS in 1941, Vivian Bullwikel embarked for Singapore n September 1941 as a staff nurse with the 2/13th Australian General Hospital (2/13th AGH).
Physical description
Cropped reproduction and framed in a gold oval on black background of Vivian Bullwinkel studio portrait in service dress uniform made by Mendelssohn, F B & Company, in Melbourne, during WW2. Short biography at the back. Small white frame at the bottom "PictureAustralia's millionth image".
