Historical information

Yiddish newspaper article referring to a fundraising event to be held on 25 November 1962 at a venue called New Broadway for the new Bialik College. Bialik College is the first Jewish school in Australia to introduce the teaching of modern Hebrew as a living language. It is also the first Jewish day school in Melbourne.
