Historical information
The Courier Newspaper was established in Ballarat in 1866. It is printed daily and contains local and national news. Page two has an item about Tram 42. The Congregational Church bought the tram from the State Electricity Commission after trams stopped running two months earlier. It has been converted into a well equipped Sunday School.
Other items are "Abolish three-lane roads", Gallery buys new items, weddings, photos and article on Clunes Show, sports and classified advertisements.
