11109.25ab Iris & Davis Skidmore reminiscing about their time working at Hanro. The coloured cutting featured in the Bendigo Advertiser on Thursday 29 July 2010, prior to the annual reunion of Hanro Staff. Hanro Knitting Mills operated for 40 years, employing about 4000 people, prior to be taken over by John Brown menswear.
11109.25c B& W cutting from the Bendigo Advertiser. Hanro employees Elaine Read, Olga Grenfell & Betty Dewhurst outside the old Hanro Knitting Mills in Hargreaves Street. Date of the reunion not detailed but approximately 1996. Hanro reached its peak staff numbers during the war when the demand for military clothing was intense. B&W cutting newspaper has been pieced together and sticking tape linking three related cuttings for the 1996 reunion.
